Yes. Free is a fully functional proxy with local dashboard, budget enforcement, anomaly detection, and cost alerts. No time limit, no gates. It works offline and is MIT-licensed.

What's included in the free dashboard?

Everything local and cloud: run history, cost breakdowns, routing decisions, budget controls. The cloud dashboard at relayplane.com is free. Pro adds 90-day cloud history, network routing intelligence, and REST API access.

When does Pro pay for itself?

At about $60/mo in API spend. Network-enhanced routing finds cheaper paths for the same quality, most agents save $20-50/mo after the $19 fee.

What is the mesh and why does it matter?

The mesh is collective intelligence across all RelayPlane agents. Free users contribute anonymized routing signals. Pro users also receive signals, meaning your agent benefits from every other agent's experience.

What data does the mesh share?

Only anonymized metadata: model name, token counts, cost, latency, success/fail. Your prompts, responses, and API keys never leave your machine. Mesh is on by default but you can opt out anytime: `relayplane mesh off`.

What is Max for?

Max is for teams running multiple AI agents. Your agents share a private mesh, they learn from each other's routing decisions. Includes per-agent spend limits, approval flows, and audit logs.

Is there annual billing?
